For the first time Europan Norway is handing out a new Student Award for master projects in the field of urbanism. 22 projects from NTNU, AHO, NMBU and BAS have been nominated. Now four finalists remain and the candidates will be presenting their project in a sequence of pecha kucha this evening. The diplomaproject from 2014 "INVERTED BEAUTY" by Ann-Sofie Indgul and Aina Telhaug is one of the four finalists.
The student project Tubakuba which was nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture-Mies van der Rohe Award 2015, did not reach all the way in the competiton. BAS is proud of to have been nominated, and the project has now been among others been published in Domus, Dezeen and ArchDaily.
