Seeking Sanctuary Exhibition Opening at the (old) Stenersen Museum Friday 16 September at 18:00!

The Border Crossing Master Studio at BAS welcomes you with our intervention Free Access at the entrance of the Oslo Architecture Triennale Extended Program Seeking Sanctuary exhibition:

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Seeking Sanctuary Exhibition Opening at the (old) Stenersen Museum Friday 16 September at 18:00! 

The Seeking Sanctuary exhibition presents projects responding to urgent and everyday needs for refugees and host communities. The works on display showcase the possibilities of creating normality in extraordinary situations through architecture, planning and design.

In addition to the inside exhibition, an outdoor intervention will invite visitors, participants and passers-by to a Space of Negotiation.

The works are produced by students from the In Transit Master Studio / The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) Heterotopia Master Studio + Border Crossing Master studio / The Bergen School of Architecture (BAS) Urban Resilience Master Studio + Newcomer space NTNU Live Studio / The Faculty of Architecture and Design (NTNU). 

The Seeking Sanctuary exhibition is a part of the Oslo Architecture Triennale (OAT), and will travel to Trondheim, Bergen and be on display at the Architecture in Emergency Symposium in Istanbul in November 2016.
