Sarah Jost (born 1979, Sweden) is a Bergen based artist that have her studio at Bergen Ateliergruppe. In 2009 she graduated with a MFA from Bergen Academy of Art and Design, she also have a BA in Ceramic Art from the School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg. Jost has amongst others exhibited at Galleri Mors Mössa, Göteborg; Studio 17, Stavanger; Visningsrommet USF, Bergen; The Art museum of Nord Trøndelag, Namsos and Eskilstuna konstmuseum. Upcoming solo shows include Norske Grafikeres Galleri, Oslo and Kunstgarasjen, Bergen. In her artistic practice Jost is interested in ideas concerning memory, silence and communication. She mainly works with installation and sculpture, with elements of text and drawing. Methodically she re-use fragments of older works and found material in combination with new ones.
Anja Ulset (born 1981, Norway) completed a MFA at Bergen National Academy of Art and Design in 2010. She works with drawing, sculptures, installation, text and photography. Ulset has a production of fanzines and artist books, often in collaboration with other artists and writers. Found elements are incorporated into her practice using old photographs, postcards, films, books, objects, and drawings. Recent exhibitions and publications: USF Visningsrommet, Bergen; Steinkjer kunstforening, ROM, Oslo; Knipsu, Bergen; Ctrl + Z Publishing, Samlaget. Upcoming works: Solo show at Tegnerforbundet, Oslo, and a public art commission at Amalie Skram vgs.
