HAUKÅS BLUE/GREEN BELT - ALTERNATE INSERTS & AUGMENTED LANDSCAPES
The course will focus on the blue/green nature/culture belt of a recent, larger masterplan/kommuneplan for newsettlements and recreation areas for the Åsane nordøst, Hordvik - Haukås areas. Read more about the program here.

In search of architectural approaches within a shrinking city
Many cities and towns across the world, once centers of social, economic and cultural growth, are now finding themselves in a peripheral position and in a state of decline. What can be architecturally learned from such places? Are there mistakes to avoid or new situations to emulate, transplant or adapt elsewhere?

HURDAL MINIHOUSE ECOVILLAGE
In cooperation with Aktivhus and Hurdal Ecovillage, BAS is involved in a project to design and build a minihouse in wood. THis is to be built and presented at a conference about sustainable architecture in Hurdal in June 2015. Read more about the program here. http://hurdalecovillage.no
