Diploma Ceremony 16. August 2014

On Saturday 16. August BAS celebrated our 35 new Masters of Architecture. The recently graduated candidates received their diploma certificate and were congratulated in front of family, friends, teachers and students at BAS. 5 of the projects were awarded with a Distincition from the assessors.

This years Diploma Exam at BAS took place from 27.-30. June 2014, and a total of 35 candidates passed their final exam at BAS.

We have had two assessor teams that have evaluated the candidates in their exhibition. 

The assessor teams have consisted of: 
Anders Melsom (Norwegian architect), Ian MacBurnie (architect from Canada), Vigdis Fjellheim (artist from Norway), Eva Korsøen (landscape architect from Norway)

Bjørn Otto Braaten (Norwegian architect), Anne Mette Boye (architect from Denmark), Tom Chamberlain (artist from the UK)

Julia Lacombe Franco: Informal living - expanding/strengthening the social and spatial structure of Heliopolis
Fredrikke Frølich: Intercultural co-existence -Meeting people, bridging difference and getting along
Almudena Ruiz-Gimenez Ubeda and Nadav Kochavi: Recomposing Presence in Trumpeldor - A revival to an existing cemetery located in the heart of Tel Aviv, Israel
